PowerPoint movie and sound

I have created a PowerPoint project with movie and sound. I play the movies
on my computer there fine so is the sound, as soon as I send it to the
instructor neither the movie nor the sound is working. I uploaded the files
into a website where she could download them from it isn't working! What do I
do wrong??
