Powerpoint, Movie Clips and Thumb Drive Problems!! Need help fast!

I have a presentation to give in about 2 hours and could use some help.
I run my presentation from my memory stick. I also use movie clips.
I have tried numerous methods to import the clip/link in to a slide for
viewing during the presentation including drag and drop, hyperlink,
action button for movies. The problems is that the drive label changes
for the memory stick depending on what computer it plugs into.
Sometimes it is E, D, F, etc. This is causing a break in the link to
my movie clips.

I was wondering how to fix this problem. If I burn the presentation to
a CD and link to clips also stored on the CD, will that solve the
problem?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!!

Put all the linked files into the same folder as your presentation before
you make the links. Then use the package for CD option, and select copy to
folder. then copy all the files to you memory stick

Ok, i got this working. Now my problem is that one video file is in
avi format, and Windows Media Player only plays the sound, not the
video. Suggestions?

What happens to the avi file when you double click it? Do you get just sound
or both?
