Powerpoint music from MAC to PC

Wondering if there is a trick to get a Power Point presentation
converted from a MAC to a PC. We've figured out the basics, but can't
get the accompanying music track to play on the PC. Got any advice?

I dont usually have a problem. But then I always do the package, and save
into a folder just to be sure if there are link files.

Sure enough, most of the time my music is saved in the package as a separate
file that needs to remain in the folder with the presentation at all times.

It's actually the same file format, but the Mac version can play native Mac
media formats like QuickTime MOV and AIFF sounds.

Which sound file format have you used in the Mac version of PowerPoint?

If you use WAV, then PowerPoint on both platforms can play the presentation
as intended.
