Powerpoint navigation / splitting file

R Ormerod

This is the first time I have used Powerpoint and I have a couple of queries
relating to a presentation file:

1) The file contains 350 slides which I need to send to various people for
reviewing before the presentations. How do I separate the relevant slides
into different powerpoint files (and then consolidate them back into a single
file again afterwards)?

2) The previous user of this file has created web-style links at the top of
each slide which take you to the different sections of the presentation by a
single click on the relevant word. Where can I create / edit these links, as
they seem to be related to some sort of contents section?

Regards

1. Go to Slide Sorter View. Save your file to create a backup. Select a group
of slides and press the delete key. Save the file to a new name. It contains
the undeleted slides and can now be sent. Re-open your backup file and repeat
the process to create a file with a different set of slides. When selecting,
hold down the Shift key to select a range of slides, or hold down the Ctrl key
to select non-sequential slides.

2. Go to View > Master > Slide Master to edit the common links.
