PowerPoint - "Notes" view

How do I save a powerpoint show to be shown in "Notes" view when it's viewed?
I made a presentation and I want 2 viewable renditions of it. One as a show
with proper pictures, and one in "Notes" view with the pictures smaller and
the text below.

Use the Send to Word feature.

Click File, Send to, Microsoft Office Word, choose the layout you prefer.
Don't choose link if you're going to distribute, but be prepared for big
files.

No kidding - big files! My PowerPoint Presentation began at 26 MB and the
Word file it created is 264.25 MB! My system crashed on the first try, so I
updated my Office installation and tried again. It worked, but consider a 264
MB file a non-solution in this case. Thank you, PPTMagician, for your prompt
and well-informed response. I will keep this tip for another time, and find
another solution to this particular presentation problem.

Thanks again.

To make the files somewhat smaller, use the link option when you do the Send
to Word. When you are in Word, do Edit--> Links and break the links. The
file size will shrink down. (You can't shrink it if the files aren't linked
in the first place. Don't know why, it just works that way.)
You might also look into Bill D's Slide Into Word tool It puts the notes
next to the slides, but makes much smaller files. You can find information
on it here:
