powerpoint opens blank page

Hi all,

I've got powerpoint 2000 and create pages in it.

When i send it to others, all bar a few can open/read them. The few that
can't simply get a blank page (as though they were going to create their
own).

Any thoughts as to why?

It's possible the recipients are using PPT 2003, and they have not applied
at least Service Pack 1. This SP fixed a lot of "missing graphics" issues
that PPT 2003 had right out of the box.

If they open PPT and go to Help | Check for Updates, they should be able to
install the latest service pack, and that should take care of it. (I think
we're up to SP3 now.)

Thanks for that. I spoke to a 2nd person who is using PPT 2007 & they
simply can't open the ppt file I send them whereas the first person simply
gets a blank page.
