PowerPoint presentation and it is too fast to read what can i do?

I am creating a Presentation when I want to see it as a slide show, it is too
fast to read. What can I do? I would like you to help me. Please Please
Please!!!!

Can you further elaborate on "too fast to read"?
Is it because the slides are advancing quickly?
