powerpoint presentation problems

I am having problems with the animatiion and text when my presentation
(2002 ppt) is loaded onto another computer. I am running XP pro and
the other computer is running 98. It seems after a few slides, it
comes to a point where the text and animations stop running and become
a jumbled mess on the screen. Anyone with advice on a fix, please
respond...Thanks!
