PP Presenter opens a .pps slide with 2 (or more) .wav files, and plays them
all at the same time. Why? How do I get around this ?

I'm not sure what you mean by "Presenter." Are you using the PPT Viewer,
maybe? If so, which version of the Viewer are you using?

How were the WAV files inserted, and what version of PPT was the
presentation created in?

1. PPT is 2003, PP Presenter is current (yesterday) version of free PP viewer
download from MS.
2. Wav files inserted via menu Insert, Movies and Sounds, Sound from File.

Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, thanks.

I'm assuming, then, that you're using the PPT 2003 Viewer from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...27-43AB-4F24-90B7-A94784AF71A4&displaylang=en
and not the PPT 97 Viewer.

Can you please confirm that, and can you also tell me which slide each of
the WAVs were inserted on and what the animation settings say if you
right-click, choose Custom Animations and go to the Effects Options tab
(double-click the sound in the animation task pane).

Also, how do you want the WAVs to play? Should they be background tracks or
something different?
