Hi everyone,
Bit of a bug here some users I support have been having.
On win2000 pro SP3 workstations, powerpoint 97 hangs when
closing an opened presentation. You have to go into task
manager and end the process before PP97 can be run again.
These aren't overly complicated presentations, nothing
with special fonts, linked to another presentation, macros
and the like. Tried renaming the reg keys in current user
and local machine to read as old.powerpoint. Powerpoint
restarted and remade the keys just fine, but the problem
persists.
Anyone have any thoughts as to the cause and/or the remedy?
