Is there a way to automatically copy an active object/image to another slide
in the same presentation?

I'm not sure what you are saying, but it sounds to me like you want to
click on an object during slide show mode and have that appear on another
slide. This can be done fairly easily with VBA. Let us know if this is
what you mean.
