lot of times it is simply
a problem with computer
resources.
my recommendation is
to make sure your computer
is dedicated to the power
point project.
so disconnect from the
internet, turn off/exit
all your active programs
like anti virals.
also set the virtual memory
to a fixed size because maybe
the delay is also due to the
pagefile/vm resizing.
set your vm to a custom
size of initial=2 and max
to 1.5 times the amount
of ram on your computer.
just one more tip would
be to copy/export the
problematic slides into
a separate project and
focus on resolving the
issues.
if you can, then reimport
that corrected slide back
into your main project and
test again.
incidentally, you should
make a straight copy of
you current project/file and
save it in another folder
as a backup.
