PowerPoint slide template

I went online and downloaded a slide template. I added it to my slide
presentation, but when I go to print, it doesn't show up on the printed pages
or the print preview. There is no problem viewing the show on a whole while
on the computer. How can I fix the problem? I have tried re-typing the
information and applying the slide again, and it doesn't seem to have a
problem with other various templates. I have also tried to download the
template again. Any suggestions would be helpful.

A) If you are printing to a black and white printer.... the design of the
template may be set "not to print" on a black and white printer.

B) If the template/image/background has been placed on the "background"
(using format > background > fill effect > picture), then it also will not
print.
