PowerPoint slide timing doesn't work

I set individual times for slides in my presentation to display the slide and then display the next slide in sequence. However, the times do not work. It stays on the lead-in slide and does not transition to the next at the required time.

Hi

It sounds as if perhaps you omitted adding a transition between slide 1
and slide 2. Or you might have put a custom animation set to "on click"
on slide 1 but you did not click on the slide, so PowerPoint sits there
waiting for a click.
