powerpoint template help

I have Office 2003. Whenever I open Powerpoint, it also opens the "Template
Help" when opening an existing presentation, or "Getting Started" if I just
open Powerpoint (no file).

How do I stop this happening by default? I don't want Help opened until I
choose to as it takes up screen real estate & having to close it every time I
open something is a pain.

Don't know any simple way to stop the pane appearing when Powerpoint is opened.

You can stop it when double clicking a file by setting:
Tools > Options>View >default view to Normal slide only

Worked a charm, thanks! How was one to guess to go to Service options?!?
Even searching in Help I got no clues (try "template help" .. nothing useful
is shown).

I'm happy getting the "Getting Started" at opening powerpoint for now when
opening powerpopint (no document) - is there a way to toggle that off & on
too? The other "Service Options" tick boxes don't stop that.
