PowerPoint to Windows Media Player

I've created a PowerPoint presentation and now want to move it to a CD where
I can give the CD out to people and they can pop it in their computer and
watch it on, say Windows Media Player or another format. How do I save it in
the correct format so anyone can watch it from a CD?

If you are using PowerPoint 2003, you can use package for CD.
To do so, click File > Package for CD > Copy to CD.
This will include a PowerPoint Viewer which allows users without PowerPoint
to view the presentation.

Also, If you are using Windows XP, you can write the PowerPoint file into CD
together with the PowerPoint Viewer.
To download a viewer, check this out:

To write files into a CD using Windows XP:

If you are using PowerPoint 2002 and below, you can use the Pack and Go
feature.

*Also, you have mentioned about showing the presentation in Windows Media
Player. In this case, you can convert your presentation into video format:

Is that the same as "Pack and Go"?

PowerPoint 2002 don't include a viewer while 2000 include PowerPoint 97
Viewer if i remember correctly. You can check out the link on how to use the
