powerpoint versions

what versions of powerpoint are compatable with windows
xp. If I use an old version do I just have to download
the upgrades

PowerPoint 97-2003 run on Windows XP. I can't speak for PowerPoint 95
because I no longer have it installed.

I'm not sure what upgrades you are referring to, but with a bit more
information we can answer your second question.
