I have written a add in that replaces videos in a power point after they have
been converted to a standard format. The problem that I am having is that
when the power point was made on a Mac and has .mov videos in it, even after
the video link has been update to the new .avi video the image does not
refresh(the video plays fine). I have tried a couple of approaches to fix
this already. First I tried to just insert a new media shape. This worked to
refresh image but then the animation is lost. I believe that the best way to
do this will be to temporarily insert a new media shape so that I can save
the image and then change the image on the original that still has the
animation. However this must be done in code. Does anyone know how to save or
export the image preview of a video and how to change the image preview with
code.
