PowerPoint XP Error

Get the following error message when trying to launch a new graph in
Powerpoint XP:

the server application, source file, or item cannot be found, or returned an
unknown error. You may need to re-install the server application.

Have the latest Office XP Service Pack 3 applied but has made no difference.
Also have tried the removing of certain fonts from an earlier thread but it
still didn't work. Any ideas?

Glen,

Thanks for the info, have tried a couple of things on the site but still no
joy. Don't think it's permissions related either as the users are on a local
admins.

Did you take a look at:

Are you running Norton?

Another thing to try: click on Help, Detect and Repair.
