Is there any way to set up a presentation so it will show one slideshow, and
then stop that one and then play another one? I'm using this on a plasma
display to give information to students in a dorm. Also, how can I stop
Powerpoint from freezing when running same show for a while?

Well, nuts, my previous reply is off somewhere in cyberspace.

At any rate, if you're using PPT 2003, this is way easy. Just use Package
for CD, and you'll have an option to "play in order" using the 2003 PPT
Viewer. If you're using a different version, it would have to be set up
manually using a playlist.

This requires scheduling an occasional restart.
http://www.tushar-mehta.com/powerpoint/auto_schedule/index.html has some info
on how to do that.
