In custom animation I get many numbers which indicate the series of custom
animations but sometimes there are too many numbers because I am using many
animations. Screen looks cluttered with numbers and very much confusing.
Any way to reduce the numbers or put them in proper orders. Thanks

I feel your pain, but there is no way you can avoid this in PPT 2003.
In PowerPoint 2007 you have a taskpane which allows you to hide/show
individual animations, while you are working on the slide. And you can give
the object a name. That way it makes them more accessable and easier to find.
One of the big improvements when you work with a lot of animations.
