PP 2002 always opens preso as 'presentation1'?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Whenever I open an existing presentation in PP 2002 by
double clicking on the file icon, instead of opening the
file as "My Presentation Name", it always opens as the
generic'Presentation1'.

Whenever I save my work the first time, I have to
overwrite the existing presentation, more of a nuisance
than anything else.

Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone have a fix?

So I understand this: you doubleclick the icon for an existing PPT file
(say one named "My Presentation Name.PPT") and it opens the correct file
with the correct contents visible, only the name's changed to Presentation1?

This does sound weird.
