Hi,
Is it possible to show MPEGs within PP without this disturbing change to
black for a fraction of a second at the beginning? The most useful piece
of information I found states that this is by design, see
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&[email protected]
I tried to use WMV (from Windows Media Encoder 9) as suggested by the
article mentioned above. I also tried to put autoshapes in front of the
MPEG or to activate the "Hide while not playing" option as suggested in
other messages I found, all with the same negative result :-( Does
anybody have a solution? AVI does not show this behavior, but AVI is not
an option due to quality and file size.
Maybe related to that: After the change to black, everything plays fine,
but a thin black/grey line is visible around the border of the movie.
Interestingly this does not appear when I place first a 'dummy' (=only
background colored frames) movie first and then add my real movie. Only
the first movie placed on a slide seems to show this 'frame', so I can
get rid of it by decreasing the size of my dummy to invisible... Weird.
This is PP 2003 SP1
