PP 2003 slideshow/Video of wmv file not playing on dual monitor

I can't get the Video portion of a wmv file to display on the secondary
monitor when running a PowerPoint 2003 slide show with a linkied wmv file on
dual monitor system. The sound plays, but no video displays on secondary
monitor. Is this a problem for anyone else? Have you found a solution?

Thanks for the info. Have tried downloading all the drivers, etc. Didn't
seem to help in this case. I'm not using a laptop, so don't think I have
access to the toggle capability. Switching the primary and secondary monitor
settings does make the wmv clip display in the slideshow. This is the only
work around that I've found but no solution to the problem.

Helen,

I think this neither a PPT nor a PC driver problem. I too used a
non-laptop for a PPT the other day. I use an ATI Radeon 9X00 dual
output video card and found the link to the projector would show
everything apart from the videos in the slides. By switching cables, I
proved, conclusively, that the problem was caused by a projector that
could not handle the resolution I was using. Lowering the resolution
(to 800x600) fixed the problem but the PPT then looked lousy!

If you plug the projector cable into a standard monitor and all is
well, then you too have the same problem and unless you can get access
to a higher spec (non-black box) projector, then lowering the
resolution may well be the only (but not guaranteed) workround.

Good luck

Chris
