PP avi video problem

I have a XP Tablet SP2 with PP 2003 on it. When I play an avi video on a
slide it is just blank but the audio plays in the background, The video plays
in Windows Media Player (11) fine. What can the problem be?

Could be a codec or path length problem. For a pretty sure solution download
"plays for certain" and use that to insert the vid.
