PPT 2002 does not recognize audio CD

Hello,

When I select the option to play a CD during a
presentation, PPT does not recognize the CD in the drive
even though Windows media does and will play the CD. Any
ideas on this?

From...desperately tyring to get some audio into my
presentation.

Note: If you know how to excerpt an audio segment from a
cd that would work too. For some reason...Microsoft's
PPT will not recognize Microsoft's Windows Media player 9
format. Help!

Kartoga,

Is this music something you bought from one of the download services? If so
it has DRM included and you will NOT be able to use it in PowerPoint.
