PPT 2003 Continuous Presentation with numerous files?

I am creating a PPT presentation with scanned photos; the file got so large,
that I made a number of smaller files containing the photos. I now want to
link them so that the presentation runs in sequence and continuously (by
linking the last file back to the first) until Escape. Rather than on mouse
click, I have the files set to change slides every 10 seconds. I have tried
both the Slide Show-> Action Settings and Insert -> Hyperlink commands, but
only the first file plays in the show. Help! Thanks!

In addition to Glenna's idea, you may want to toss away the
un-needed/un-usable detail in your pictures. File sizes get huge when you
use images scanned at higher than required resolution. You may even be able
to put it all back into a single show. See:

**Why are my PowerPoint files so big? What can I do about it?

- and -

**What's all this about DPI and INCHES and RESOLUTION?
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00075.htm

I often scan at 200 or 300 dpi for 8.5 x 11 pages, which means I've scanned
something like 20 times more information into this picture than the
PowerPoint screen can display. By discarding the un-usable detail
information, I bring my presentations back to a more realistic size.
