PPT 2008 QuickTime movies end prematurely

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I just transfered over to PPT 2008 from PPT 2004. The movies in my presentations are now ending prematurely, maybe 1 to 2 seconds before they are supposed to end. This annoyance appears in every movie. Any ideas how to prevent this from happening? Thanks!
