PPT Hyperlink file pointer

Tom

Currently have two PPT files. The first has links to the
second. When a link is activated, a second PPT session is
initiated correctly. When I hit the home button to
return to the first PPT file, the system starte another
session of PPT indicating that it is a read only access.
This results with increasing numbers of active sessions
instead on one pointed to the second. In addition, the
generation of a second first PPT file session does not
return to the exact line in the slide that initially was
used to trigger the hyperlink. Any suggestions of how to
preclude the opening the second readonly session and
return to the one already open??

I appreciate you help.

See Ya

You can change that "Home" button to a button linked to "End Show". Create a
button, select it, go to Slide Show > Action Settings > Hyperlink to: and select
End Show from the drop down list.

That will end the current instance of PowerPoint and return you to the one you
came from.
