PPT presenter view

monitor 2 box is gray out. can't put check mark in block for presenter
view. when I try to check the box and it open a menu for me to follow.
As I follow the instuction but it don't help.

Do you have a second display set up? That is, you'll need to have a second
monitor or a projector or something hooked up in order for Presenter View to
work.

Yes I do have a gateway projector tooked up to a gateway laptop. It has
worked fine in the past but started haveing problem. Just quit working
I can find the problem.
