Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) How do I turn off smart quotes? I need to use an apostrophe before a patent number so it needs to go the other way. Thanks

Clear the check on 'Straight quotes with smart quotes' in PowerPoint>
Preferences> AutoCorrect.
