ppt sound --delete for slides + sdtrk

Hello everyone,

I created a powerpoint slideshow and added narration to each slide. I
then felt
that I wanted other sound effects so I re-recorded the narration in
garageband
and added my sounds. Now I can't delete the sounds from the slides. I
see the
icon and I hit delete--save and test movie and the sound is still
there. I tried
to set up slide show & clicked the no narration box but it still is
there. Do
you have any suggestions?
I was told that if I put these 2 (powerpoint movie & garageband mp3) into Flash
that might work: Garageband soundtrack is now an mp3 file. The power
point slide
show is not a quicktime movie, it is a ppt movie (I think). Is that a
problem OR
can I export it/publish it as a QT movie?
Thank you for any and all advice you can offer me.

It's dangerous for me to type when I'm sleepy, but here goes...

I have no idea how the sounds remain after you have deleted them. This is
the first I've heard of this sort of problem, which makes me think they are
still there someplace, just not visible or on screen.

If you use File > Save As > PowerPoint movie the result is a QuickTime
movie. You can put these movies into iMovie, iDVD, QuickTime, and Final Cut,
as well as other PowerPoint presentations.
