PPT to PDF size issues

I am needing to convert some large powerpoint slides into a pdf format but
when I use the convert to pdf feature within powerpoint it exports it at 8.5
x 11. Is there a way to tell it what size the output should be? (I have
already tried the default page size within the change conversion settings)

After I installed Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Pro, Powerpoint had added an Adobe PDF
Button. Also I am using Powerpoint 2003, if that helps.

PowerPoint doesn't really have a "convert to PDF" feature, so could you be
more specific about what version of PowerPoint you're working with and how
you're converting to PDF?

Whose convert to PDF feature are you using and in what version of PPT/Office?
If Adobe's PDFMaker add-in, then what version of Acrobat do you have?

Try this (I'm working from one version of Acrobat back so there may be some
slight differences):

In PPT choose File, Print.
Choose AdobePDF as the printer.
Click Properties.

That opens the Adobe PDF printer properties d'log box:
In Adobe PDF Settings tab, pick the page size you want in Adobe PDF Page Size.
Click OK.

Now you're back in PPT's print dialog box:
Checkmark the Fit To Paper box.
Set any other desired options and print.

Thanks, that does help. What Steve said -- choose File | Print and choose
Adobe PDF for the printer. Taht lets you get into the various properties so
you can specify the output size of the PDF.
