PPT v.X and 2004

Sorry to bother you with this, but it seems PPT 2004 does not qualify as a
usable product for use in-class presentations when I want to imbed QT
movies. My question is whether I can have both Office v.X and 2004 installed
on my laptop at the same time. If yes, I could revert back to PPT v.X when
necessary. Is that an option?

Yes you can.
I have PPT98, vX and 2004 on my powerbook
