pre assign resources

Does somebody know how we can pre-assign resources.
What we want is to tell that Peter will work for 50% the next 6 week
on a project.
Creating a project is something we don't want. Can this be don
somewhere in the resource environments.

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

Microsoft Project is a scheduler for projects. You cannot use it without
creating a project. Maybe you'd be better off using Excel.

For sure we want to work with MS project. We only want to know if it'
possible that you can say to the resource pool you have this person wil
be only be availible for 40% the next 6 weeks

Display the Resource Information form (double clicking the number to the
left of his name is one way). On the availability table show he's available
100% up to the date he gets tied up, 40% from that date till he's free'd up,
and 100% after the 6 week date.
