Hi,
I'm looking for a way to uninstall or remove all of the
tabs for the preloaded templates in Word and Excel. We
use our own templates and don't want to confuse everyone
on the network.
Ideally, on each machine we want everyone to be able to
open Word or Excel and click File > New , select General
Templates from the menu on the right of the screen and
only see the "tabs" for the folders we've installed.
1. How do I get rid of the preloaded tabs
like "Spreadsheet Solutions" in Excel?
2. In Office 97 we could put a shortcut to the folder
that held our templates in the Office Templates folder.
Now when we do that it the "tab" isn't added to the
General Templates screen. What are we missing? We
shouldn't have to load every template on to each machine
right?
Thanks for the help!!!!
