Preparing Access 2003 for Deployment

I have a database split into 2 databases; one for the
front end and one for the tables. They are linked
together and seem to work fine. I want to deploy this
application with the databases separated so I can upgrade
the front while leaving the tables intact. I have
deployed applications, using the Access 2003 Developers
Kit, where the tables were a part of the database, but
never after splitting the database. Can someone help?
