Preparing to Install message won't quit loading after 2003 RT inst

I have installed Access 2003 runtime on a Win2k workstation. Every time the
application runs the "Preparing to Install" window comes up and then the
"Please wait will Windows configures Access 2003 runtime" message comes up.
Is there something I can do to correct these nuisance messages from popping up
