Presentation within a presentation

I have several small presentations that I need to put into another longer
presentation for continuity of information. However, I don't want my slide
layouts or designs on the small presentations to change and nor do I want my
longer presentation background or layout to change. CAn I do this and if so,
how? I'm using Powerpoint 2000.

For PowerPoint 2000, you may want to consider separating the presentations

Myself, I prefer to Insert the existing presentation as an object. You will
end up with a nice thumbnail of the first slide and when clicked it runs the
embedded presentation and when it's finished you are back in your original
presentation.
