Presentations Are Unreadable

Hello All,

A remote user is having trouble using PowerPoint. Everytime he opens a
presentation, one that his coworkers, who have the same PowerPoint version
(2000 9.0.3821), can open without trouble, the text of the presentation is
unreadable (he calls it 'hieroglyphics'). I suspect fots could be the issue
but I'm not sure, as he should have the same fornts as everyone else, and
because this only happens when he opens certain presentations created by a
particular group of users who may not have the same version. If anyone has
any idea what might be happening and could point me in the direction of a
solution I'd be very grateful.

Jessica,

Check the font in the font list in powerpoint. If it's listed with question marks next to the name instead of a TT or O
symbol, then the font is missing

You're thinking of the list in Format/Replace Fonts. (Not quite the same as
the regular font list.)

I was thinking of the regular font list.....The one (top left) that's next to the (B)old (I)talic buttons
