Presenter View mode problem

AleC

Hi All,

I've PowerPoint 2003 SP3 installed in my laptop. I used the "Show Presenter
View" mode when presenting my slides using a projector by enabling the Dual
Monitor Extension. Unfortunately I'm no more able to activate this view. I
see the slide show in the second monitor but a normal presentation in the
first monitor (the same as when "Show Presenter View" box is un-ticked). The
only reference I've found in the support page is to uninstall Apreso
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/904808/en-us) but I've it not installed.

Somewhere in the web I've read OGA may cause this problem as well.

Please help me. Thanks,
AleC

Try unchecking (or checking, I forget which) "extend my desktop to this
monitor" in the Windows display properties.

Already done but unsuccessfully. I also reinstalled the "Intel Extreme
Graphics 2" but without any change. Tried also to run a Repair Office
Installation.

It is like the tick on the enable presenter view mode is not detected:
enabled/disabled have the actual identical behaviour. May it be that the OGA
add-in creates a conflict with the presenter view add-in?

I'd be surprised if Office Genuine Advantage affects this.

What other add-ins do you have installed, though?

The only add-ins I've are:
1) BtOfficeAddin.BtOfficeIntegration.1: Send to Bluetooth
2) MultiMgrAddIn.AddInDesigner1: Microsoft PowerPoint Presenter Tools
3) OGAAddin.Connect: Office Genuine Advantage Add-in
4) rhd.Connect: Remove Hidden Data Tool

Wow, maybe the OGA add-in does affect this, then. Have you tried disabling
it?

I'd disable send to bluetooth and the hidden data tool, too.

The Presenter Tools are part of PPT 2003 and Presenter View. Leave that one!

Hi guys not sure how to post a new thread on this discussion group but I have
a problem with Presenter View in PPT 2007. When I invoke it I cannot see the
image of the slide being displayed on the video projector on the operator
console. It just shows up as a black box instead of showing me a thumb nail
of the displayed image. Is this a limitation of the graphics card? I am using
Vista and a Gigabyte 9500GT video card with 512Mb video ram. If anyone has
any idea what the problem might be I would be appreciate any advice
