Prevent damaged database

Hi,
I have a Access 2000 application with 20 users. Recently
I got error message, "*.mdb needs to be repaired or isn't
a database file, user may have unexpectedly quit while
Access was open". I applied the Repair utility and it was
fixed. Is there a way to prevent it happen again? Can I
find out which user is the one to be blamed? Thanks.
