prevent deleting

Hi all, is there a way of preventing someone from just highlighting your
database and pressing the delete key ???, I have created a database which is
used on a network within the company I work for and want to stop just anybody
from deleting it.

When you right-click the file and choose Properties, do you get a "Security"
tab? If so use that to set file permissions. If not then try opening a
command prompt and typing "cacls" (Google for the same too). You have to be
the host folder's owner to manipulate permissions IIRC.
