Prevent Graph8 from including dates with no data

I have a bar graph that gets populated with date related values where
the dates are not in any set interval. When I plot the data, Graph8
assumes I want to show the relative time between each sample. In my
case, I only want to display the dates and data when samples were
taken. I also want the samples to be evenly spaced across the x axis
with no regard for the time interval between any 2 samples.
