I'm running project server 2007.

How can I prevent project managers to change each others projects? I've read
a lot of comments here but I still didn't find the answer to this problem.

Thanks in advance

By default they cannot. Make sure that they are only members of the Project
Managers and Team members group.

There is a category permission that is called Save Project. You need to
look and determine why the project managers are getting access to a category
of projects which this permission set.

there is no single answer I can give you, you will have to go looking in the
administration under the security section.

Yes, they are only members of PM and TM groups.

How can I check if Categories are define as they were supposed (by default)
? For project managers I have three categories: "My organization", "My
projects" and "My Personal Projects".

I'm not sure If I understand the purpose of categories. If anyone have a
simple explanation of how to work with them, I'll will appreciate it very
much.

yeah one PM :: Project

But, there are times, when a PM need to handover for a short duration of
time thier project to another PM.. we normally just change the Project
Owner in PWA to w/ever is taking care /(babysitting ?) .. if there is good
collobration / smooth teamplay,..it works.. However, the down side that the
audit on approvals and rejections now are broken..
