Preventing appointments outside office-hours

So I have enabled my Calender(Office 2007) to auto-accept new appointments. I
have set office hours, the time in which I am available for meetings and such
between 8:00 and 18:00. To my surprise some1 succesfully entered a meet for
7:30 am. I would have thought this would not be allowed, since my
availability starts at 8:00. How is this possible? Is there a way to prevent
ppl from planning a time before/after my start/end time as entered in
Calender options?

You cannot prevent people from scheduling an appointment with you if you
autoaccept new requests. There's nothing special about non-working hours. In
fact, they can also choose to ignore your free/busy informaiton and schedule
an apppointment that conflicts with another.
