preventing deletion of a comment

hi,

i would like to allow users to edit the contents of a cell and insert a
comment, but not delete comments from other users in a shared workbook.

i know this must be possible, however, i just cannot see how to do so!! it
is driving me batty! is there anyone who has achieved this before?

Do you mean to add on to an existing comment, or to have a different
comment for each user in the same cell? I don't think the latter can
be done

sorry - should have been clearer.


i would like users to be add comments to the workbook (on any of the
unlocked cells) whilst preventing them from deleting comments that are
already there.
