Preview attachments

When I use Apple's Mail I can preview any attachments I want to send - but I
do not seem to be able to do that in Entourage. When I want to add an
attachment (like a photo) I would like to be able to see the photo (so I
know if dsc100-3-4 is the one I want to send to grandma) when I navigate to
it before selecting it. I can do that when I hit the "add attachment" button
in Mail, but I only get the standard jpeg image icon when I do this with
"add attachment" in Entourage.
Any way to preview the attachment within Entourage?

No, I'm not aware of a way to do that. Sorry. You could look for the
photos you want in the Finder, using Column View with the preview column on
the right (go to View > Show View Options to turn on the preview column if
necessary). Then, you can select the photos you want to send, and drag them
into an Entourage message.

This would make a good feature request. Be sure to submit it to Microsoft.
In Entourage X or 2004, go to Help > Send Feedback on Entourage. Otherwise,
click on this direct link to enter Mac Product Feedback:

Sorry that feature is not available. Under Help in the Entourage menu bar
select "Send Feedback on Entourage" to request this feature, or
click on this direct link to enter Mac Product Feedback:

What I do, is click on the image in the Finder in Column view. A thumbnail
view of the image will be shown.

I¹m going to take back there is no way to do this...

When you click on the button to Add Attachments, there are two icons at the
top left. One for list view and the other column view. Select the Column
View. This will allow you to see images.
