Preview of pictures not working

Hello,I have FP2002. When I click on insert picture I can browse to my
folders but I cannot "preview" the picture with the pull down menu. The
command is there but it will not work...in fact "details" does not either .
Is there a setting to allow these to work?

Are you IMPORTING your pictures into FP before trying to use them on pages?

Yes, they are imported and are in the web. Thanks for your reply of 11/18 but
