Preview Pane has quit working outlook 2007 and Vista

Hello all.

The preview pane has quit working for one my users, which I was unable to
fix, prompting the question

"Don't you know how this stuff works?"

I just love debugging software for Microsoft.

Anybody else have this problem

define 'quit working' - is it on but not showing the message, turned off and
won't turn on?

Its on, but it just shows a blue background.. no message..

I have a similar problem, and didn't see any follow-up response to this
question. I have Vista Ultimate and Office 2007. I religously do the updates
as they become available. At some point about 2 weeks ago, preview pane in
Outlook just stopped working. It is not even showing up, and the option to
turn it on/off in the menu is actually greyed out. Anyone know what might
have happened? I'm wondering if it was related to any of the updates that
occured in late November or early December.
